Product Description
Five generations of the Garde family have run Domaine du Grand Ormeau. The vines are spread over two excellent primary soil types: clay and deep gravel. This combination gives a medium to full bodied wine that displays rich aromas of ripe plums, cherries and raspberries. In the mouth ripe dark fruits and a great tannic structure with a lovely acidity and a long finish. Mostly Merlot but with a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, this is an ideal crowd-pleasing claret.
