Product Description

Pork Chashu cooked 500g pkt Japanese style. Frozen

Origin: Singapore

Pork, Soy Sauce, Spring Onion, Goseishu Sauce, Sweet Sake, Sugar and Ginger Contains Gluten and Soy

Japanese have adapted the famous Chinese barbecued pork called Char Siu (叉燒) as chāshū (チャーシュー). Unlike the Chinese version which requires roasting over high heat, this meat is prepared by rolling it into a log and then braising it over low heat in a sauce seasoned with soy sauce, sake, and sugar. The Japanese enjoy Chasu as a topping for Ramen and other noodles, as well as Chasu over steamed rice in called Chashu Don, like a rice bowl.

Le chāshū, c’est le porc braisé en tranches que l’on retrouve toujours ou presque sur les bols de râmen. Quant à la viande, il s’agit traditionnellement d’épaule de porc désossée et détaillée en longues bandes.
