Product Description
VANILLA PLANIFOLIA BOURBON
BOURBON VANILLA, is a generic term for PLANIFOLIA VANILLA. The French developed large plantations on Reunion Island, known at the time as the Île de Bourbon, hence the name of Bourbon. Introduced on the island of Lifou in New Caledonia in 1860 by Pastor Marc Fariane from Madagascar, it was only in 1980 that vanilla cultivation developed, under the impetus of Bole Waia Felix of the Muscaweng tribe.
The quality of LIFOU Vanilla is exceptional!
Indeed, the islands are free of agricultural diseases and the producers do not use pesticides or fertilizer but natural compost (coconut and vegetable).
