In this special showcase, we bring to you three very special cheese from Italy: Parmigiano Reggiano, Grana Padano and Sbiancato Hard Cheese. While some of you cheese aficionados may already find them familiar, why not read on to discover the taste profile of this trio and see how you can pair them with different accompaniments!

Grana Padano:   months

This cheese is made from unpasteurised cow’s milk and originates from the Po River Valley in Italy. It belongs to the Parmesan family of cheese. Containing a fat content of between 39% and 41%, its texture can be considered slightly grainy and crumbly. Flavour wise, it is subtly fruity – easy on the palette!

Parmigiano Reggiano:   This is a versatile cheese; you grate it, shred it or shave it on pasta, salads or even fruits…making it a top favourite for fast–and-easy snacks. Parmigiano Reggiano is made

from unpasteurised cow’s milk and also belongs to the Parmesan family of cheese. It has a fat content of about 25.83g per 100g. It has a grainy texture, and a rather nutty, savoury taste. Try this cheese to discover its rich, nutty profile!

Sbiancato Hard Cheese:

Hard Italian cheese like the Sbiancato have had their moisture removed through the ageing process and this intensifies their flavour as they continue to ripen. This is a simple no-frills cheese that we have curated from our trusted supplier…try it today!
